My day in school Part 6

An outside view of the University Union. Inside that cool triangle-looking building is a huge food court. On the right, the picture ended up being the wrong angle to see it -- but it is supposed to be a huge scupture statue of a buff, topless dude holding an ax, wearing heavy boots: The Lumberjack (mascot).
You can see the University Union (food court) to the right. That vertical yay-high pole in the right foreground says something about Peace on Earth in a few languages written all over it. The rectangle behind the pole -- you can see an encirclement of rocks -- is actually a snowed-over pond. As soon as it gets warm again they'll put gold fishys back in it.

On the right, the cobbled pedway (for those walking). On the left, the smooth tarmac for the bikers. Never the twain shall meet or mix or crash -- riiiiight . . . .

A longer view of where I walk down almost every day from lunch time (University Union) to my last class (Liberal Arts building).

Major Construction. The sign that says what it is: "Distance Learning Center".

  1. This is a bigger campus than I imagined. I don't know why.
